Tocopherol is a form of natural vitamin E which is derived from vegetable oils. Natural Vitamin E is more easily absorbed by the skin and better for you than the synthetic version.
Natural Vitamin E is a wonderful addition to skin and hair care products like creams, cleansers, shampoo and balms. It can help prolong the life of your homemade cosmetics because of its antioxidant properties, with the added benefits of extra moisturisation powers. Vitamin E is an all-round useful oil to use in your beauty regime.
Tocopherol is a powerful antioxidant which can help fight damage causing free radicals in the skin. Many skincare formulations for mature skin contains Tocopherols to help prevent premature aging. It is super moisturising and nourishing and can help rejuvenate and hydrate dry skin.
Our Vitamin E can be used directly on the skin to improve the skin's appearance and help nourish and hydrate. You can add it to your skincare products for an added antioxidizing boost.
Your hair will benefit from using Vitamin E too. It can help restore shine and moisture and help detangle and fight frizz.
Our naturally derived Vitamin E contains 0.25% Tocopherol. We are currently looking at supplying a pure mixed Tocopherol as an antioxidant for your homemade beauty formulations, so keep your eyes peeled for an update!

All vegetable oils and fats are 100% fat and are generally high in calories (on average about 120 calories per tablespoon).
Vegetable oils are often used in food preparation for salad dressings, cooking, frying, baking, sauces and marinades. As a general guide, virgin and unrefined oils have more of the oil’s natural flavour and lend themselves well for use in cold dishes. Refined oils generally have longer shelf lives and may have a higher smoke point and therefore be better for high heat cooking, but this varies depending on the type of oil.
Each oil has its own distinct flavour and nutrient and Fatty Acid composition, so each oil may be used for different purposes depending on your need.
